Athletes must climb up the inverted stairway and transition to the ropes/rings, Cross over and then down the inverted stairway to the other side. Failure to reach the other side or if any part of an athlete’s body touches the water results in obstacle non-completion.
(Elites: Must complete steeper lanes.

Athletes must use one of the designated lanes available to them. Each lane is designated by markers on the ground in front of the quarter pipe. Once on top of the quarter pipe, athletes must step down the opposing side. As a reminder, any assistance given to or received from other athletes on this or any other obstacle may result in obstacle non-completion.
(Elites: Males must complete the 12-foot far right wall.
Females must complete the 10-foot middle wall.)
Athletes must hang from ground and use hands/feet to cross over to other side. Touching the ground before reaching the other side will result in obstacle non-completion.
(Mud Titan and Tactical Titan)
Athletes must use only the handholds and footholds provided. Use of the top ledge of the wall is prohibited and will result in obstacle non-completion. Before stepping down from the footholds, ring the bell to signal completion of the obstacle. Touching the ground before ringing the bell will also result in obstacle non-completion.
Athletes must hang from ground and use only hands and feet to cross over to other side. Touching the ground before reaching the other side will result in obstacle non-completion. In the middle of each lane there is a pole that you may use to rest on and position yourself closer to the next grip but may not touch ground.
Athletes must first cross this obstacle using the hand rings and then down the cargo net using hands and feet. Failure to reach the other side or if any part of an athlete’s body touches the water will result in obstacle non-completion
Note: (ACTUAL LIST VARIES FROM RUN TO RUN) Elite runner MUST complete all obstacles in the manner in which they are designed to be completed. Using alternative methods to complete an obstacle will result in either a required additional attempt using the correct method to complete the obstacle OR forfeiting your Titan Elite wristband due to obstacle non-completion. (For example, you MAY NOT use the support braces on the wall climb obstacles to help yourself climb over.) This goes for any obstacle. If you are unsure how to complete an obstacle, ask the volunteer or staff member at that obstacle. Titan Elite runners must do the most difficult of the parts of the obstacles.
Elite Wave Attempts – Obstacles may be attempted an unlimited number of times. (There are no workout alternatives.) If you are unable to complete an obstacle on your first attempt, you must make your way to the far right lane (Retry lane) or obstacle area to make additional attempts. This is to avoid impeding athletes behind you who are attempting an obstacle for the first time.
Road to Olympus– Athletes must high knee their way through the tires for the entirety of the obstacle without falling. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Under Belly of Hades– Athletes must low crawl through mud for the entirety of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Poseidon’s Crossing– Athletes must cross through swamp for the entirety of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
No Titan Left Behind (OPEN WAVES ONLY) – Athletes must carry a second runner down to the markers, switch and then the second runner carry the first runner back.
Cable Crossing– Athletes must cross over swamp for the entirety of the obstacle using only the cable. Landing in the water would be an unsuccessful attempt.
Rope Climb– Athletes must climb rope and ring bell before climbing down and releasing rope. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Hades Hops– Athletes must jump on top of tree stumps without falling down. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Ladder Ball - Using the balls, runners toss the pair. Ringing one is a successful attempt. Each runner can toss four sets. Failure to ring one results in 10 up-downs.
Bag Toss - Runners will toss four bean bags at the board. Runners must land two or ring one hole to be successful. If a runner fails to meet the challenge, he/she will give us 10 up-downs.
Aphrodite Tears– Athletes must run through hanging tires without falling down. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Kronos Back– Athletes must run up the slanted side of the “A frame” slanted wall and down the opposing side of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Mouth of Cetus– Athletes must cross through creek for the entirety of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Monkey Bars– Athletes must use one of the designated lanes and may use only their hands on the rungs. Use of feet or legs or failure to reach other end without falling will result in obstacle non-completion. (All Elites: Must use inclined monkey bar lanes)
Hill to Olympus– Athletes must run up the hill and down the other end. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Hercules– Athletes must pull the rope of one of the designated weights (Male side/ Female side) to the top. Then slowly release the weight until it touches the ground. DO NOT drop the weight. Failure to do so or dropping the weight will result in obstacle non-completion.
Labors of Hercules – Athletes must carry buckets filled of sand/gravel/water (Obstacle attendee will advise you what to fill your bucket with) down to marked turnaround point and return bucket full. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Arachne Web– Athletes must run through web of ropes for the entirety of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Atlas Wall– Athletes must climb over tire wall and down the opposing side of tires. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion. (All Elites: Must climb over taller side of tire wall)
Hydra Back Slide– Athletes must slide on back facing up for the entirety of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Ares Slope– Athletes must run up the hill and down the water slide into water. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Hermes Hoist– Athletes must carry tires down to marked turnaround point and return tire to starting side. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Ring Toss - Runners will toss four steel rings in attempt to ring at least one. Failure to ring will result in 10 up-downs.
Gladiator Games: Box jumps– Athletes must complete 10 box jumps before proceeding to next station. Repeat until you successfully complete 10. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Gladiator Games: Tire Flips– Athletes must complete 3 tire flips forward and 3 flips back to original position before proceeding to next station. Repeat until you successfully complete 3. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Gladiator Games: Tire Drag– Athletes must drag tires down to marked turnaround point and return tire to starting side. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
The Wall – Athletes must climb over the wall without using the legs of the wall to boost yourself over. You may use ropes if provided. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Hydras Pit– “Over/Under” - Athletes must follow the displayed arrow signs. Up arrow indicates go over, down arrow indicates go under. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Over, Under, Through– Athletes must follow the displayed arrow signs. Up arrow indicates go over, down arrow indicates go under, and arrows pointing to middle indicate go through the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Troy Wall– Athletes must climb over the wall without using the legs of the wall to boost yourself over. You may use ropes if provided. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Titus 2.0– Athletes must hang without touching the ground and use only hands to cross over to other side. Touching the ground before reaching the other side will result in obstacle non-completion.
River to Greece– Athletes must cross through swamp waters for the entirety of the obstacle. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Teeter Totter– Athletes must cross this obstacle using only one beam.; However, if any part of an athlete’s body touches the ground, this results in obstacle non-completion.
Olympian Gates– Athletes must climb or jump over the hurdles. Skipping or walking around any of the hurdles will result in obstacle non-completion.
Inverted Cargo Climb - Athletes must climb over cargo net and down the opposing side. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Labors of Hercules #2– Athletes must carry sand bags down to marked turn around point and return sand bags to starting side. Failure to do so will result in obstacle non-completion.
Pipes of Poseidon – Athletes must crawl through the tubes and use hands/feet to cross over to other side. Touching the ground before reaching the other side will result in obstacle non-completion.
Hermes Belt – Athletes must run up the treadmill without falling down. Touching the ground before reaching the other side will result in obstacle non-completion.
